SBA to open disaster loan outreach centers in Wahkiakum County

Director Tanya N. Garfield of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West on February 28 announced the opening of two Disaster Loan Outreach Centers in Wahkiakum County to help meet the needs of businesses and individuals who were affected by winter weather and flooding that occurred Jan. 5-16, 2022.
“SBA customer service representatives will be on hand to answer questions about SBA’s disaster loan program, explain the application process and help each individual complete their electronic loan application,” Garfield continued. The centers will be open on the days and times indicated. No appointment is necessary.
On Monday, March 7 and Tuesday, March 8, the Disaster Loan Outreach Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 25 River St., Cathlamet.
On Wednesday, March 9 and Thursday, March 10 the Disaster Loan Outreach Center will be open at the Grays River Valley Center, 30 Rosburg School Road in Rosburg from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The deadline to apply for property damage is April 18, 2022. The deadline to apply for economic injury is Nov. 15, 2022.
