April 21, 2022

Johnson Park advisory board would like to remind everyone the Super Sale is coming up this weekend, Saturday April 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Set up times will be on Friday night from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday morning from 7-9 a.m. Also a soup and sandwich lunch will be available in the cafeteria.

Johnson Park Library has a new look, stop in and see when you’re at the Super Sale Saturday. Rosalinda Wilson and Carillon Nicol have been working non stop to clean and organize the library. They will have a book sale table at the super sale, nice books, low price, check it out. The hours for the library are Tuesday and Thursday noon to 4 p.m. Johnson Park library is looking for a volunteer for one evening a week. If you are interested contact Denise Blanchard 360-355-0472, thank you.

Bingo Night will be held May 28 from 6-8 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there.

Our Janitor Diane Sears has been working very hard to get the painting of the hallways done, and it is looking very nice. Diane and Denise Blanchard painted the upper halls, and the lower halls along with sanding all the doors on the lower hall and painting. Wes Ware has done a beautiful job of sanding and staining of the upper halls. It is looking amazing, it is not done yet, but soon.

The conference room has been switched with the sewing room and is now in the lower hallway, it is also the craft room.

Our project for naming the rooms is almost completed. The Naselle High School has been making the names for the doors. These are also almost done. It will be so exciting to see the names of past teachers etc., on the doors as you walk down the hallway and remember the teacher and personnel that worked there when you went to school. They will go up soon.

We have a new board member, Pam Hageman, who will be an asset and has agreed to be secretary.

The board now meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 p.m., feel free to join us anytime.

Thank you for your continued use of the building known by many as the Rosburg School.
