Cathlamet Woman's Club to celebrate 92 years

To The Eagle:

The GFWC-Cathlamet Woman’s Club meets the first Tuesday of the month, except December and January. Our next meeting is May 3, at 12:00, upstairs at the Hotel Cathlamet. You can also drop by the Tsuga Gallery on Friday, May 6, between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m., for the 22nd Annual Pie and Cupcake Social. An information table will be available with GFWC-Cathlamet Woman’s Club information, also club members will be delighted to answer any questions.

This year the Cathlamet Woman’s Club marks 92 years of community service. The Cathlamet Woman’s Club was originally organized in 1929 and was federated in 1930 under the Washington State and National Federation of Women’s Clubs. GFWC is one of the world’s oldest and largest women’s service organizations dedicated to community improvement through volunteer services.

The Cathlamet Woman’s Club has a long history of local women from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds, coming together to improve the conditions in the community we love. We find “joy in living and giving.”

Events like our Annual Pie and Cupcake Social raise funds to support organizations and projects in Wahkiakum County.

Look forward to meeting you.
