WHS softball team deals with weather

Thanks to a rainy spring, the Wahkiakum Mules softball team hasn’t had too many opportunities to play. Last Thursday’s game against Rainier was postponed, but the Lady Mules did get to travel to Napavine on Monday, where they lost 15-0.

Bright spots were Reigha Niemeyer, who went 2-2 at the plate, and Breyonna Montgomery and Miya Kerstetter, who went 1-2, Coach Garrett Miller said.

The Lady Mules hosted Kalama yesterday (Wednesday), and expected to travel to Winlock on Monday.
