Sue Zabel, owner of Jabber Shack in Cathlamet, has issued a challenge to area businesses to enter the first annual “Cup of Sunshine” food bank donation challenge to support local food banks. The winning business will receive a prize.

Bring non-perishable food items to any participating business in Wahkiakum County from May 23 through June 3. Donations should not be more than six months past the expiration date.

Watch for signage to indicate a participating business.
