What's happening at the Fair?

Wow! What an awesome Mud Wrestling turn out. Thank you to the brave wrestlers, you were all awesome. Thank you to Aunt Shirley and Aunt Marietta for putting such a wonderful event together. All monies raised will be used to build a lean-to, to put over the kids games at fair. They have raised half of their goal to put it up. Watch for more Mud Wrestling in the future.

The next event out here at the fairgrounds is approaching fast. That is the "Cruzin’ to the Fair Car Show." Pre-registrations are due by May 27. We will still take cars the day of the show, but if you pre-register you save $5. All classes will receive trophies this year and goodie bags will be given out to the first 150 cars. So hurry and get yours in. You can also pre-order your car shirt. Breakfast and lunch will be served and there will be vendors on hand selling things. So mark your calendar for June 4 and the Car Show. Car entries can start entering at 6 a.m. and the public can enter at 8 a.m. The fair board has some awesome raffle prizes that will be set up and tickets are only $1.00 each. Thank you to our sponsors: Astoria Ford and Wahkiakum West Internet; our supporters: Johnson One Stop; and Friend: Realty West. Also thank you to Art's Automotive, Walmart in Longview, and Joan Wren.

We are still looking for Fair Royalty. Anyone interested should call the office ASAP 360-795-3480. We would like to have a Junior Court and a Senior Court.

Get those car show registrations in and have a great week.
