The busy season has arrived at the fairgrounds. This Saturday is the 5th annual "CRUZIN TO THE FAIR” car show. DJ Ray Bartley will be back playing music for us in the youth building. There will be a silent auction and raffle. Burgers and Polish sausages will be served as well as strawberry shortcake. Biscuits and Gravy will be served from 7am until 10:30. On Monday everything except floral, gardening and baking is entered and of course animals. Tuesday floral, gardening and baking come in and on Wednesday animals come in from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday the gates open for the fair. Greetings from the fair office. Wow! it’s hard to believe we are only four weeks away from the fair. Animal entries came in last Friday and it looks good. Fair books are out, so hopefully everyone has one and is getting their entries ready for the fair. Check the fair book for days that entries come in. Monday August 14 enter all exhibits except livestock, baking, garden and floral from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Tuesday August 15 enter baking, garden and floral. We will start the afternoon off with Mud Wrestling at 3:30 p.m. This year we have included some peewee wrestling so bring the kids out and let them play in the mud. Peewee classes are as follows A: 30-40 lbs, B:41-60 lbs, C: 61-74 lbs, Class D: 75-125 lbs, E: 126-175 lbs, F: 176-225 lbs and G: 226 and above.
