Hoof Rot disease of elk has been impacting our elk herds for many years. Answers to “What is it and what’s being done?” will be discussed by the Ungulate (elk/deer) specialist of Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife during a “Wahkiakum Outdoors Program ” presentation on August 18 at 6:30 p.m., in the Hope Center in Cathlamet (320 S. 3rd Street).
