Comettes host district volleyball this evening

The Naselle Comette volleyball team begins postseason play on Thursday, November 3, at 6 p.m. at home when they take on the winner of Wednesday’s match between Three River Christian and Columbia Adventist.

If Naselle wins, they will play Taholah at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 5 at Montesano. If they lose, they will play in a loser out game at 6:30 p.m. the same day in Montesano.

Four teams from the district will go to state. If Naselle wins their first two games, they are guaranteed a berth. If they lose either of the first two games, they will be one of four teams vying for the two final spots.

Updates will be posted on The Wahkiakum Eagle Sports Report page on Facebook.

The state tournament takes place at the Yakima Valley SunDome on November 10-11.

The Comets are 10-2 in conference, and 12-4 overall.
