Larry Ellis Brewer died November 16, 2022 at his home in Silver Lake, WA, at the age of 81.

Larry was born June 25, 1941 in Lodi, Calif., to Ellis and Pauline (McDaniel) Brewer.

In 1958 at the age of 17 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and received his GED while there. He served aboard the USS Tortuga and was honorably discharged in 1968. In 1978 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserves where he rose to the rank of CW03 and retired in 1994.

Larry worked in the in the aerospace manufacturing business as a welding inspector. He retired in 2020 at the age of 79.

In 2001 he and his wife Gail moved from San Diego to La Center. They loved to travel and visited 45 states and five continents.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother Margaret Brewer; brother Bob Brewer and sister Bonita Moore.

Larry is survived at home by his wife Gail Olsen Mjelde Brewer; his brother Jerry Brewer, Roswell, NM; daughters Lori Mullen and Tracy Meighan of San Jacinto, CA and two grandchildren.

Interment was at Greenwood Cemetery in Cathlamet. Dowling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
