The Wahkiakum Mules girls basketball team participated in a girls' tournament at Mount Vernon Christian School during the last week of December. The Lady Mules lost their first and second games, 32-19 to Orcas Island and 47-37 to Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian School respectively, but finished the trip on a high note with a 56-42 win against Crosspoint Academy.

They returned to regular season play on Wednesday at home against Toutle Lake, but the score was not available by press time.

The Lady Mules host Morton/White Pass on Friday and travel to Rainier next Wednesday.
