Mayor David Olson will host an open forum with muffins and coffee at noon on Friday February 3 in the meeting room at the Cottage Bread & Breakfast, 380 Una Ave, Cathlamet.

Citizens, residents or anyone interested are invited to drop by and join the mayor for complimentary muffins and coffee to discuss issues, ask questions, or raise any interests or concerns regarding the Town of Cathlamet.

Mayor Olson states “This event is to provide for citizen discussion and input, as well as information exchange. There is a lot going on at the town, and I want to hear from citizens and learn what is on their minds, as well as respond to any concerns and provide updates on town business. Bouquets as well as brickbats (plush brickbats, anyway) are welcome! Many thanks to The Cottage Bread & Breakfast for hosting!”

If the event is successful, Mayor Olson hopes to repeat “Muffins with the Mayor” on at least a monthly basis.
