Comets close out a strong season

The Naselle Comets football team ended their season on Saturday after losing 98-44 to the second-ranked Wilbur-Creston-Keller Wildcats in the quarterfinals of the State 1B tournament.
The Comets went 10-2 this year. It was the final season for seniors Allen Haataja and Jacob Pakenen.
