April 29 2:23 p.m. A Wahkiakum resident walked into the sheriff's office to ask what could be done regarding a deposit they made online to purchase a vehicle. When they got to the address where the vehicle was supposed to be located they discovered that the sale was a fraud. Deputies reccommended that the person contact their bank, block the user on facebook and change their paypal information. 2:45 p.m. A Cathlamet caller reported someone filing taxes in their name and using their social security number. 9:26 p.m. A Puget Island caller reported that they had seen a red flare in the Columbia river. Deputies were not able to see anything from the South side of the island. The Coast Guard was notified.

April 30 11:00 A caller reported a car in the ditch behind the Adventist church in Cathlamet. 7:28 a.m. A welfare check was requested on a relative who had not returned as expected. 2:50 p.m. An alarm was set off at a Cathlamet residence. The sheriff’s department attempted to contact the homeowner without results. The alarm was silenced by the security company.

May 1 4:40 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported their spouse had been attacked by their neighbor’s dog. The caller said that their dog had also been attacked. 9:43 p.m. A Cathlamet resident requested emergency services after experiencing abdominal pain. May 2 1:45 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to a elderly resident who needed medical assistance. 7:25 p.m. A Skamokawa resident requested the Cathlamet ambulance after experiencing a seizure. 9:35 p.m. An Elochoman Valley resident called in to report that a vehicle parked across the street from them had its dome light on. 9:47 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported a suspicious vehicle driving behind their neighbors property. The Washington State Patrol ran the license plate on the vehicle and discovered that it was a relative of the owner. May 3 8:14 a.m. Cathlamet emergency services responded to a Beaver Creek resident with abdominal pain. 9:29 a.m. A Puget Island resident reported that they believe that people are trespassing on their property. The caller stated that this is an ongoing problem with their neighbor. 11:49 p.m. A noise complaint came in from a Westend resident who said that this is an ongoing problem. Deputies informed the person that the county does not have a noise ordinance. 1:21 p.m. A Caller in Cathlamet requested deputies after their neighbor complained about people working on their property. Both parties were advised that the Sheriff’s department does not get involved in property line disputes beyond peacekeeping. 3:14 p.m. A Elochoman Valley resident complaining of abdominal pain requested the Cathlamet ambulance. 5:42 p.m. A Puget Island homeowner called to report that their neighbor’s aggressive dog was on their property again. The caller said if they continue to have issues they will shoot the dog. May 4 11:36 a.m. A Puget Island resident called to report the violation of a protection order. 7:21 p.m. A Puget Island homeowner reported two trucks driving at an excessive rate of speed on the island. 7:25 A Westend resident requested emergency services after experiencing chest pains. 10:49 p.m. The Cathlmet ambulance responded to a Cathlamet resident who was having trouble breathing. May 5 12:30 a.m. A caller reported a person having difficulty walking near Nassa Point. 8:01 a.m. A Westend caller reported seeing a person walking on SR4 being followed by a car. 10:53 An East county resident who was unresponsive was transported by emergency services to the hospital. 1:08 p.m. A power outage was reported on Maki Road. 6:40 p.m. A Deep River caller reported a stray dog chasing birds. 10:50 p.m. A Puget Island resident requested the Cathlamet ambulance after a possible heart attack.
