St. James Family Center awarded $10,000 grant to strengthen local programs

St. James Family Center (SJFC) in Cathlamet has received a $10,000 grant through the 2024 Member Impact Fund, a partnership between the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) of Des Moines and Bank of the Pacific. The grant includes a $2,500 contribution from Bank of the Pacific, matched three-to-one by FHLB for a total of $10,000 to support SJFC's community-focused programs.

The center's work is grounded in the principles of family support, fostering self-sufficiency, and creating a stronger community. "St. James Family Center is grateful for the support from both Bank of the Pacific and Federal Home Loan Bank," said SJFC Executive Director Beth Hansen. "The Bank of the Pacific supports agencies like ours in their local banking communities, and we are thrilled to receive this grant to support programs that have such a direct and positive impact in our community."
