HALF AND HALF. The first half of this past weekend was just gorgeous, and I heard a lot of lawnmowers going and trimmers trimming. It was truly a day to get out there and soak up some sunshine… awesome. Then, here comes Sunday, and it was the flip side of the day before: super wet and nasty. Definitely a day to cozy up and watch a bit of television. However, if the forecast holds true, we may have a decent three-day stretch of weather, but even if it’s just two, I’ll be thrilled. For now, it’s time to put away the yard tools and keep those umbrellas handy!
TRAGIC. While I may moan and groan about the rain a bit, I have nothing really to complain about considering the absolute devastation that has been taking place to the east of us, as not only have tornadoes just ravaged many states, heavy rains have poured down. What wasn’t blown away was flooded in many places, and it’s just heart-wrenching to see all the videos of those being impacted by these horrific weather events. If you have family and friends back there, I do hope they have been able to reach out to you and that they are all okay. We will be thinking of them for sure.

EASTER EGG HUNT CANCELLED. I mentioned previously that Spartan Electric LLC would be holding a huge Easter Egg Hunt on Puget Island, but sadly, that had to be canceled. Please watch for other hunts like the one the Lions Club members put on down at the fairgrounds. I have not heard any details yet, but I will keep you posted.
THINKING OF THEM. I heard that Debbie Beebe had to have some surgery and is in a walking cast and that Philomena Thomas is recuperating from some surgery, so we wish them speedy recoveries.
