The Clatskanie High School Theatre Department proudly presents “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon” by Don Zolidis. Join us May 16, 23, and 24 at 7 p.m. and May 17 at 2 p.m. in the Donavan Wooley Performing Arts Center CMHS Auditorium (417 Bel Air. Dr.).
The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure stories like The Devil's Grandmother and The Girl Without Hands. The show promises to be a wild, free-form comedy with lots of audience participation and madcap fun. Please note that these are the original Grimm stories, so parental guidance is advised. A total of 43 roles are being performed by 13 actors, and the show is produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. General admission to the show is $8, and $5 for students and seniors.
