James David Mosteller

James David Mosteller, 69, of Cathlamet, passed away at his home in Cathlamet on April 29, 2025. David was born Aug 1, 1955 in Canyonville, OR. Through his life he enjoyed taking vacations, his paper making job at Wauna (27 years) and traveling by horseback through the mountains of many states to hunt and fish any creek he came across. He also spent many years gaming and cutting cattle from horseback. He later slowed his life down to local beach fishing with his many friends and family and an annual hunting camp at Fossil Creek.

Dave was proceeded in death by his mother, Vada Blanche Mosteller, father, Paul Thomas Mosteller and late wife, Kathy Mosteller (KP). He is survived by six siblings, his daughters Erla Crouse and Mike, Kimberlee Anderson and Erik, his five grandchildren, Ellee, Kortnee, Marissa, Ian and Masee and four great grandkids. There will be a celebration of life potluck style at the Norse Hall on Puget Island August 16, at 3 p.m.
