Rainier prepares for city-wide garage sale

The annual city-wide sale is back and happening on Saturday, June 21, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. A popular annual event that draws a crowd from across the county and beyond, the city-wide sale features individual house and neighborhood sales, as well as individual tables and booths at a variety of establishments found throughout Rainier.

For those interested in having their address listed on the official map, you can pick-up and drop off the application form at Country Financial (112 E B St.) in Rainier. The deadline to submit for inclusion is Thursday, June 11.

The cost is $5 to list a home address and $10 to reserve a spot at Rainier City Park (tables not provided). All proceeds go to the Rainier Oregon Historical Museum. For payment, make checks payable to Rainier Oregon Historical Museum.

Located at the Rainier Riverfront Center (48 W. 7th St.), the Rainier Senior Center has tables to rent for $10 (limit of two) and will also be selling grilled hamburgers and hot dogs as a fundraiser. For more information about a table, contact 503-556-3889.
