Columbia County Sheriff’s Office “National Night Out” celebration returns on Tuesday, August 5, from 5-8 p.m. at the main office location at 901 Port Ave. in Saint Helens.
“This will be our 5th year holding CCSO’s National Night Out celebration,” said Columbia County Sheriff Brian Pixley. “Events like this help to foster relationships between public safety and the community as a whole. This event has grown over the last few years, and we have several other partners who show up to take part in this community celebration as well. This is a time for the community to get out there and interact with Police, Fire, other partners and each other. This is a time for us to celebrate this great community we live in.”
Attendees of the free event will have the opportunity to see K-9 demonstrations, meet K9’s Bravo and Jax, take guided jail tours, interact with corrections/enforcement deputies and Sheriff Pixley, enjoy bouncy houses, and play corn hole and giant jenga games. Free food will be provided at the event.
