Announcement of Opportunity for

Pro/Con Committees

Pursuant to RCW 29A.32.280

Cathlamet, WA – Wahkiakum County Elections is announcing an opportunity for the public to form a committee to provide statements in favor and opposing the following measure submitted for the General Election ballot by the Public Utility District :

“If approved, this measure would authorize Public Utility District #1 of Wahkiakum County to acquire, operate, and maintain sewer systems, in accordance with RCW 54.16.230. Voter approval is required by law for the PUD to provide sewer utility services.

Should this proposition be:

[ ]Rejected”
