Thanks to the help of our Daughter-in-law, Judy, I got all my fruit canned, frozen and jammed in “jig” time. The Pinamotis and the Pat Maddens were here for dinner on Saturday. Louise prepared a delicious Chinese meal for us, a real treat.

Pat Thacker left Friday to attend the Millard Military Prep school, at Bandon, Oregon.

Lots of young people are leaving for school again, Our man Friday, Scott McClain leaves this Friday to resume his education.

Jerry and Hazel Brockway are home from their trip to Minnesota. Ellen Block, Jerry’s sister, is still in critical condition after undergoing bowel surgery.

Mary Ann Madden was hostess for an un-birthday party, honoring the gals in the birthday club whose parties she missed. They were Mdmes. Noreen Holten, Mariane Brightbill, Mafie Cossette and Nell Smythe, on Wednesday.

Bridal Shower

A bridal shower was held at the home of Michelle Stornetta of Skamokawa in honor of Pamela Gregory. The shower, held on September 4, was attended by approximately 16 guests. An October wedding is planned.
