RESOLUTION NO. 134-25

A RESOLUTION CLOSING COVERED BRIDGE COUNTY ROAD

FROM MILEPOST 0.11 TO MILEPOST 0.15

WHEREAS, based upon the report and recommendation of the County Engineer, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that the Friends of Extension and Wahkiakum 4 H-sponsored Country Days Dinner will take place on the Grays River Covered Bridge on Covered Bridge County Road necessitates the closure of said road on Saturday, October 4, 2025; and

WHEREAS, Section 47.48.010 of the Revised Code of Washington grants authority to the Board of County Commissioners to restrict travel on county roads when conditions demand it;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED, as follows:

Section 1: Covered Bridge County Road between milepost 0.11 and milepost 0.15 shall be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Section 2: The County Engineer is directed to post signs indicating the road closure established in Section 1 of this Resolution.

Section 3: Upon posting of signs and publication of a Public Notice in the Wahkiakum County Eagle any person violating the terms of this Resolution shall be guilty of a mis demeanor.
