Silent auction rescheduled for Oct. 25

The annual Pioneer Community Association (PCA) fundraiser scheduled for last month has been rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 25 at 4:30 p.m. at Norse Hall (444 WA-409) on Puget Island. This year’s fundraiser will be a “silent auction with a twist.” The event will be an “appetizer shindig,” featuring food from local restaurants Maria’s, The Spar, JJ’s Pizza & Mohr, and The Duck Inn. On the slate will also be a “musical cabaret” showcasing the local talent. The silent auction portion will be “loaded with gift certificates, assorted baskets, are, and musical instruments.” Tickets for the event are only $15. To pre-purchase tickets, visit pioneercommunityassociation.org. Tickets will still be available at the door, but pre-purchased tickets come with a complimentary glass of beer or wine.

The PCA has a mission to preserve and maintain the historic Cathlamet Pioneer Center for community use as a cultural arts and performance center and public meeting venue. Local support is vital as the community works to “come together, work together, and grow together.”
