Treasure Hunting at Bridgeway Uniques & More

Nestled among storefronts on A street along the waterfront in Rainier and two doors down from Hometown Pizza is Bridgeway Uniques and more. The store presents an 1800-square-foot showcase full of hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. When walking past or peeking in, one might think the front room is where everything ends. However, enter through a doorway connected to the main showroom, and you'll find two additional side rooms and one large room in the back.

Opened in fall of 2023, Bridgeway Antiques features items for just about any taste or interest. The owner had been collecting items for 26 years and, when the space became available, she decided it was time to share her stock with the public.

Visitors will find vintage items of all kinds, including sports and military memorabilia, dolls and toys, a range of jewelry pieces, art, and furniture. The shop also offers a wide selection of home decor items, especially serving and drinkware with complete sets that come in every color.

Shelves and cabinets line the walls with colorful pops of greens, blues, reds, and more/ Antique depression-area goblets and stemware, as well as serving bowls and dishware, can be found as well. There are also displays of cut crystal vases and bowls, as well as collectible carnival and iridium glass.

The backroom opens up to multiple display cases and a unique "diamond table" from the 1950s with attached swinging chairs. Sparkly gold and vinyl seats that were used in card parlors add to the aesthetic, with small side rooms featuring vintage clothing items and antique dolls as well.

The shop is currently holding a raffle for three baskets (women-themed, men-themed, and rocks-themed). A raffle ticket is given for free with each purchase and will be awarded on Monday, Dec. 22. Please note that the store is cash only.

Bridgeway Uniques and More is located at 109 B East A St. in Rainier and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
