No. 21-15 NOXIOUS WEED CONTROL BOARD Public Hearing Notice of Term Expiration/ Vacancies The Wahkiakum County Noxious Weed Control Board will be accepting applications from anyone interested in serving on the County Noxious Weed Control Board. Appointment will be conducted according to R.C.W. 17.10.050. The positions for which applications will be accepted and reviewed are as follows: Weed District No. 1 : Grays River area Weed District No. 2 : Rosburg area This is a volunteer 4-year position which is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to oversee the Noxious Weed Control Programs. Applications and a map are available online at the Wahkiakum County Website or by contacting Andy Lea – Weed Control Manager at (360) 749-4196 or leaa@co.wahkiakum.wa.us or by mail at Wahkiakum County Noxious Weed Board, PO Box 583, Cathlamet, WA 98612. All applications must be submitted by 11:00 a.m. March 31, 2021. A public hearing will be held at 6:00 p.m. April 5, 2021 prior to the regular board meeting. No. 21-17 TOWN OF CATHLAMET, WA ORDINANCE NO. 643-21, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN CHAPTERS AND SECTIONS OF TITLE 2 OF THE CATHLAMET MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ADMINISTRATION AND PERSONNEL A SUMMARY OF THIS ORDINANCE IS AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, Title 2 of the Cathlamet Municipal Code establishes policies for administration and personnel; and an external legal analysis of the Cathlamet Municipal Code was performed by Code Publishing in 2020; and that analysis has been reviewed by the Town and recommended changes have been drafted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CATHLAMET: Certain sections of CMC Title 2 shall be amended as follows: Section 1. CMC 2.05.030 and Section 3 of Ordinance No. 191 (1939) shall be amended to read as follows: The duties of the Town’s elective and appointive officers shall be as prescribed in Chapter 35.27 of the Revised Code of Washington, as may be amended from time to time . . . This ordinance shall take full force in effect (5) days after passage and publication. The full text of this ordinance is available for reading at Town Hall and will be mailed upon request.
