RESOLUTION NO. 119-24 A RESOLUTION CLOSING EDEN VALLEY ROAD WHEREAS, based upon the recommendation of the County Engineer, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that the installation of a culvert on Eden Valley Road at mile post 2.2 of Eden Valley Road will make it necessary to close Eden Valley County Road to through traffic at 8:00 a.m. September 16, 2024 (one (1) day closure) until the culvert installation is completed. WHEREAS, Section 47.48.010 of the Revised Code of Washington grants authority to the Board of County Commissioners to restrict travel on county roads when conditions demand it; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED, as follows: Section 1: Eden Valley Road shall be closed to through traffice Monday the 16th of September 2024, until the culvert is completed. Section 2: The County Engineer is directed to post signs indicating the road closure established in Section 1 of this Resolution. Section 3:Upon posting of signs and publication of a Public Notice in the Wahkiakum County Eagle any person violating the terms of this Resolution shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
