No. 23-25 CALL FOR BIDS ROADSIDE MOWING OF WAHKIAKUM COUNTY ROADS WAHKIAKUM COUNTY CATHLAMET, WASHINGTON NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Wahkiakum County Public Works Dept. in the County Courthouse at 64 Main Street, P.O. Box 97, Cathlamet, WA 98612 until the hour of 9:45 A.M. on March 21st, 2023 Sealed bids will then be opened and publicly read in the chambers of the Board of County Commissioners for the 2023 roadside mowing of Wahkiakum County roads. Project Description: This project provides for the roadside mowing of county roads for the calendar year 2023. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Wahkiakum County. Bid security, other than bid bonds, submitted by unsuccessful bidders will be returned as soon as practicable after award of the contract. The successful bidder will be required to execute a written Public Works Contract and to provide performance and payment bonds as described in the project specifications. Time for completion of the project shall be in conformance with the Technical Specifications.
