Cathlamet Public Library wishes to thank Treysen and Sven, two on-call Volunteers at the library. We want to thank these young men for helping us whenever we call them, with moving boxes of books from upstairs to downstairs. They always do their work with smiles, a can-do spirit, and respect for our Librarian and other volunteers. You are both appreciated by one and all. Thank you Treysen and Sven!
Cathlamet Public Library wishes to thank PHIL, a volunteer at the library for all of his work with various handyman project in the library. Each completed projects has been greatly appreciated by the librarian, volunteers, and our wonderful patrons. Thank you do much Phil, we’re all grateful for what you do.
Thank you to M.D. and Julie Johnson for hosting a second annual group activity for Wahkiakum Youth Mentoring. Everyone enjoyed the fishing, the hot dog dinner, and the camaraderie. Thanks also go to Michael Kirby of Cathlamet Market for donating food, Matthew Davidson of the Department of Fish and Wildlife for the Educational Group Fishing Permit, Pure Fishing for providing new gear for the youth, and to Wahkiakum County Port 1 staff and commissioners for letting us spend a few lovely hours fishing from the docks at the Elochoman Slough Marina. WYM is funded in part by the Wahkiakum Community Network Coalition, Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services, and the Washington Health Care Authority’s Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative grant.
