Public Works Director Pete Ringen announced that a paving contractor had finished paving a section of Steamboat Slough Road ahead of schedule, so the road could be re-opened to the public.     All first time hunters born after January 1, 1972 must complete the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife hunter education course in order to purchase a hunting license. The course will be held at the Cathlamet Fire Hall, 255 2nd St., in the DeBriae Room.     The Cathlamet Fire Department would like to inform the residents of the Town of Cathlamet that fire hydrant flushing will be conducted between April 9 and April 24.
