    Senior Peyton Souvenir proved why she has signed a letter of intent to play college basketball this week, scoring 18, 26 and 37 respectively as the Wahkiakum Mules girls basketball team rolled through three teams to begin the 2016-2017 season.     The Wahkiakum Mules wrestling team sent four grapplers to Centralia this weekend to compete in the Tiger Classic Tournament. Seniors Trynity Mendez and Rayanna Carlon represented the varsity team, while Erica Mendoza and Jacob Hammond wrestled for the junior varsity.     Several players have had opportunities to shine, but as a whole, the Wahkiakum Mules boys basketball team continued to struggle to find a rhythm.
