The Wahkiakum Lions have announced Zayne Meneou as their April Student of the Month. He enjoys riding horses and roping. When living in Arizona he was in 4-H and has shown animals and participated in bronc riding. At Wahkiakum High School he has been on the football team for two years. Due to the vicissitudes of life resulting from the Corona pandemic, the annual Community Garden Plant Sale format will be changed this year. They will hold an open-air sale at the garden on Wednesday, May 13, rather than on a Saturday.
