    Wahkiakum High School participated in the United Way Day of Caring last week. "We participated with Cowlitz county and then came back to Wahkiakum to share the love of literacy with the grade school," said Principal Stephanie Leitz. "The Georgia Pacific mill at Wauna supported the event by giving each child in the grade school a gift bag.     The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) has announced a tentative schedule for the fall razor clam season set to begin in early October.
