    Pacific Financial Corporation (OTCQB:PFLC), the holding company for Bank of the Pacific reported on January 24 that net income increased 18 percent to $6.6 million, or $0.63 per share, in 2016, compared to $5.6 million, or $0.54 per share, for 2015.     Razor clam diggers can look forward to a five-day opening beginning Jan. 27 at Copalis beach, overlapping with three days of digging at Mocrocks. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) approved the opening on evening tides at those two beaches after marine toxin tests confirmed the clams on the beaches are safe to eat.     Recreational fishing and hunting licenses for the 2017-2018 season, which begins April 1, 2017, are available for sale as of January 24. Typically, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) begins to sell the upcoming year's licenses in December.
