Network bringing providers together

The Wahkiakum Community Network will have a Networking Cafe instead of its regular meeting March 5, 6 p.m., in the River Street Meeting Room, Cathlamet.

The goal is to bring stakeholders and community prevention providers to one table for open dialog to encourage support, trust and skill building.

The session will involve state Review of Community Efforts to increase understanding of publicly funded services available to the public.

Services to be addressed include consolidated juvenile services, family preservation and support; Readiness to Learn; violence prevention; community-police partnerships; child care; early intervention and education; crisis residential care; victims’ assistance; foster care; adoption support; continuum of care, and drug and alcohol prevention and early intervention in schools.
