Valerie Elliott Antijunti from Selah has made and donated a quilt to be raffled off to help raise funds for the fairgrounds.
She is a native of Pillar Rock and her family comes to the Wahkiakum County Fair every year to exhibit.
Antijunti said she was very concerned when she heard about the flood damage at the county fairgrounds in Skamokawa and volunteered to make a quilt to raise funds to help repair and replace the goat and sheep pens, horse stalls and fixtures for the 4-H youth building.
The quilt is made in the mountain trail design. It measures 90 square inches, is 100 percent cotton batting and materials and has been pre-washed.
The quilt is on display at the WSU Extension office in Cathlamet. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase immediately through Bald Eagle Day in July.
