Local artist exhibition at Redmen Hall

Local artist David Goodroe will be holding an exhibition of his oil paintings, pen and ink drawings and pastels at Redmen Hall in Skamokawa.

Goodroe, who moved to the area two years ago, is a Cathlamet Town Council member and a director on the boards of the Southwest Clean Air Agency and the LCEDC, as well as Cathlamet's representative for the Cowlitz Wahkiakum Council of Governments.

He has been painting seriously since 1992, although he has always had a passion for art.

The exhibition is hosted by the Friends of Skamokawa and will run Thursdays through Sundays June 20 to September 7, noon to 4 p.m.
