Sheriff's Report - December 9 2010

Wahkiakum County law enforcement officers and emergency response personnel handled a variety of reports during the past week, including:

November 29--9:49 a.m. A Rosedale resident reported youths on motorcycles were tearing up someone's yard; a deputy made contact. 12:35 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet school girl with a possible broken clavicle.

November 30--11:22 a.m. A Cathlamet business reported finding pry marks on their door from an attempted burglary. 2:26 p.m. A Middle Valley resident reported someone had stolen a chainsaw, pistol and cash. 6:44 p.m. A caller reported a Pacific County man may try to take a vehicle being used by a woman staying at the domestic violence shelter in Cathlamet.


December 1--12:53 p.m. A caller reported finding a place where oyster shells and four animal skeletons had been dumped in the Elochoman Valley; the Fish and Wildlife agent was advised. 10:21 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Rosedale woman with severe pain.

December 2--10:23 a.m. A caller reported that people were leaving cars parked for extended times on Main Street. 3:39 p.m. A Rosedale resident reported someone had accessed her bank account without permission. 7:05 p.m. A caller said a man involved in a domestic assault was threatening to kill a woman and himself. 10:55 p.m. A Middle Valley resident reported people in a vehicle appeared to be casing houses for burglaries.

December 3--1:04 a.m. A caller reported a domestic disturbance at a Rosburg residence; an officer investigated. 7:57 a.m. A motorist reported a vehicle had run into a ditch along SR 4 near Rosburg; no one was injured. 10:08 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a Deep River woman who was unresponsive. 10:22 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a man who was very weak and possibly having an allergic reaction. 1:57 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid an Oak Point man with breathing trouble. 9:28 p.m. An officer arrested a driver for driving while his license was suspended and other charges from outstanding warrants.

December 4--5:18 a.m. A motorist reported a vehicle had slid on ice and run off SR 4 on KM Mountain; the driver refused treatment. 8:57 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Rosedale resident. 9:18 a.m. A caller said people on quads were trespassing in the Westend. 9:57 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet woman with breathing trouble. 10:11 a.m. A motorist reported a vehicle with four people and two dogs inside had rolled over near the summit of KM; the Cathlamet ambulance responded, and the state patrol was advised. 10:44 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet woman needing transport to a doctor.

December 5--3:32 p.m. A Hill Road resident reported someone had stolen a car stereo; an officer investigated. 6:31 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported someone had stolen a cell phone and laptop computer. 9:38 p.m. A caller reported a couple had been quarreling and might have had a domestic disturbance; an officer investigated.

December 6--12:31 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Rosedale man who was very ill. 3:42 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Puget Island woman with breathing trouble.
