WSU plans free seed starting workshop

A class to teach the basics for starting vegetables from seed will be held February 17.

Taught by Carrie Kennedy, WSU Wahkiakum County Extension, and Melissa Wong, Wahkiakum County Health Department, the class is open to all and free. It will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the WSU extension building on River Street in Cathlamet. Participants will learn what fruits and vegetables to start indoors and how to transition them out to the garden. Registration is appreciated.
