NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS

 Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of Wahkiakum School District No. 200, Wahkiakum County, Cathlamet, WA, is calling for bids for a logging project of approximately 4 acres on the District's farm forest property located in Cathlamet, WA.

 All bids should be in the form of a percentage of gross revenue from this specific timber sale. All bids must be submitted by 4:30 p.m., March 23, 2011, to Wahkiakum School District, Box 398, Cathlamet, WA 98612, in a sealed envelope marked "Logging Bid"; and will be opened at a regularly scheduled Board meeting to be held in the Wahkiakum High School library, March 23, at 7:00 p.m.

 The District reserves the right to accept any proposal which it deems most favorable to the interests of the District. It also reserves the right to waive any informalities and irregularities and reject any and/or all proposals or any portion of any proposal submitted which in their opinion is not in the best interest of the District.

 No bidder may withdraw or alter his proposal after the time set for opening thereof, unless award of the contract is delayed for a period of more than forty-five (45) days from the date of opening.

 Interested parties must contact Kyle Hurley, Vo-Ag instructor, at 795-3271 to schedule a walk-through of the property, as well as receive a written description of the project.
