Carol Jean Albrecht, 76 of Woodland, died May 25, 2011 in Longview after a six year fight against cancer.

She was born October 29, 1935 to Francis and Maud (Harris) Tower in Raymond. She married Fred Albrecht there on March 1, 1958. He survives her.

She was educated at Centralia Community College and worked as an accounting technician at a Veterans Administration Hospital until she retired in 1995.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Daniels of Cathlamet, son Fred Albrecht of Vancouver, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and brothers Cecil, Carl and Clifton.

A funeral was held June 1 at Columbia Funeral Services in Longview.
