The family of Elizabeth Etta McCormick regretfully announces her recent passing at the age of 92. Her husband of 67 years, Alex McCormick, Sr. preceded her in death in 2007 as well as their loving son, Alex, Jr. “Champ” in 2004. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Sandra Roberts (Tim) and Patty Moore (Bob), her sisters Evelyn Durrah and Irene Anschuetz, and brother Robert Miller, all of Santa Barbara, Calif. Elizabeth was cherished by her family which includes nine grandchildren and numerous greats – with one more very soon to arrive. Elizabeth and Alex moved from Cathlamet to Santa Barbara in 1966 after building lifelong ties with the community. She is missed.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on September 3, 2011 at Calvary Cemetery in Santa Barbara. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth’s honor to Alpha Resource Center of Santa Barbara, Wellness Project, a program serving individuals with developmental disabilities, 4501 Cathedral Oaks Rd., Santa Barbara, Calif. 93110 or Free Methodist Senior Meals program, 1435 Cliff Dr., Santa Barbara, CA 93109.
