NOTICE OF REGISTRATION DEADLINES

  Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of R.C.W. 29A.08.140, accepted no later than 29 days before an election by mail, in person or online all transfers within Wahkiakum County, all transfers from another county and new registrants to the state of Washington by October 10, 2011.

  WITH THE EXCEPTION that, pursuant to the provisions of R.C.W. 29A.08.145, voter registration is possible during the period between October 11, 2011 to October 31, 2011; but persons doing so must register in person at the County Auditor's office during regular hours of business, must not be currently registered to vote in the State of Washington, and will be allowed to vote an absentee ballot there at.

  VOTING AIDS TO ASSIST elderly and disabled persons will be available the 19th day of October through Election Day, the 8th day of November, at the Wahkiakum County Auditor's Office, 64 Main Street, Cathlamet, WA.
