The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Students from Cathlamet elementary, middle and high schools will perform "Snow White" this Saturday to bring to a close a week of intense theatrical activity.

The students are working with staff from the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT), which spends a week in a school to put together a production. MCT staff help with sets, audition students and help them learn their parts to bring the show together.

Performances will be 3 and 5:30 p.m. in the Wendt Elementary Multi-purpose Room. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults; children under age five are admitted free.

"A special thanks goes to our Parent-Teacher Organization for bringing MCT to Cathlamet," said Wendt teacher Tina Merz, who is coordinating the project. "Thanks also to Rob and Diane Stockhouse (Rog's Retreat) and Dan and Fern Fey for housing our directors, David D'Andrea and Hannah Carey."
