State versus Eric Nelson Dowling, 43: The defendant faces a charge of child molestation in the first degree. A trial ended in a hung jury on April 10, and another jury trial was scheduled for May 21-23.

State versus Robert Francis Caldwell: The defendant was charged with possession of methamphetamine, driving while under the influence of intoxicants, possession of marijuana, and use of drug paraphernalia. A jury trial was scheduled for July 10.

State versus Jane Fawn Carlson, 37, Cathlamet: The defendant is charged with driving while her license is suspended and possession of methamphetamine. A trial was scheduled for June 3.

State versus Louis Earl Keeler: The defendant pled guilty to a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail and ordered to pay a $500 Crime Victim Assessment (CVA), $200 court costs, $100 felony DNA collection fee, and a jail subsistence fee based on $20 per day.


State versus Kenneth Lee Erickson, 42: The defendant was charged with possession of methamphetamine. A jury trial was scheduled for July 15.

State versus Joanne Marie Knutson: The defendant was charged with possession of methamphetamine; arraignment was continued to May 6.

State versus Naomi Amanda Holinbeck, 19, St. Helens, Ore .: The defendant faces charges relating to the theft of a gun safe and tools from a Wahkiakum County man last November. The state alleges she accompanied two men during the burglary. Arraignment was continued to May 6.

State versus Daniel M. Haley, 16, a juvenile: The defendant pled guilty to two charges of theft. He was ordered to pay a $75 CVA and make restitution of $22 on one charge. A deferred disposition on another charge was revoked, and he was ordered to pay a $100 CVA, serve 14 days in confinement, and to pay $80 restitution to victims.
