The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Daughters of the American Revolution recognized Cathlamet resident Dixie Kolditz with its Americanism Certificate and Medal at its recent State Conference held in Seattle. Pictured above, l-r are State Regent Janelle Braithwait, President General Merry Ann T. Wright, Kolditz, Margaret Strueby, representing the sponsoring Mary Richardson Walker Chapter and State Chairman Annie Pierce. Qualifications for this award are based on leadership, trustworthiness, patriotism and service. Foreign born individuals must have been a naturalized citizen for five years.
