ORDINANCE NO. 567-13

AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE 2014

REGULAR PROPERTY TAX LEVY FOR THE TOWN OF CATHLAMET

WHEREAS, the Council Members of the Town of Cathlamet have met and considered its budget for the calendar year 2014; and

WHEREAS, the Council Members of the Town of Cathlamet after hearing and after duly considering all relevant evidence and testimony presented, determined that the Town of Cathlamet requires a regular levy in the amount of $75,000.00, which includes an increase in property tax revenue from the previous year, and amounts resulting from the addition of new construction and improvements to property and any increase in the value of state-assessed property, and amounts authorized by law as a result of any obligations of the Town and in its best interest;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF Cathlamet AS FOLLOWS:

1. That an increase in the regular property

tax levy

is hereby authorized for the 2014 levy in the

amount of $75,000.00.

2. This increase is exclusive of additional revenue

resulting from the addition of new construction

and improvements to property and any increase

in the value of state assessed property, and any

additional amounts resulting from any

annexations that have occurred and refunds

made.

3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect

five (5) days after passage and publication as

required by law.
