Invitation for Quotes

Logging and Hauling Services

The Town of Cathlamet, WA (Town) is soliciting quotes from certified logging contractors to perform logging and hauling services on approximately ninety three (93) acres of Town-owned timberland located near Cathlamet in Wahkiakum County, Washington. The acreage is divided as follows: Unit #1: 33 acres M/L; and Unit #2: 25 acres M/L; and Unit #3: 35 acres M/L. The desired timeline is as follows:

Notice published: April 17 & 24, 2014

Quotes accepted until: April 25, 2014 at 12:00 noon

Open Unit #1 & #2 quotes and award agreement to logger: April 25, 2014 or ASAP

Logging of Units #1 & #2 begins: May 5, 2014 or ASAP

Logging of Unit #3 begins: Upon completion of Units #1 & #2

Logging contractors must request Logging and Hauling Services Packets from the Town Hall office at 102 Main Street, Cathlamet, WA, 98612, which may be obtained in person or online at http://www.townofcathlamet.com. Packets contain maps of Units #1, #2 and #3; general harvest prescriptions; pre and post-haul land and road requirements; and specific quote instructions and other requirements. Quotes must be submitted in writing on completed Logging and Hauling Quote forms, and be received in the Town Hall office by the above deadlines. Faxed and electronic quotes are not allowed.
