Greetings from the fair office! All fair premium checks have been mailed. You have 45 days to cash them or they will be void.

Thank you to all the exhibitors who entered at the fair. The fair board paid 28 cents per point this year.

I would like to let you know of some events the fair will be having in the next few months. On October 30 and 31 we will hold our first annual "Haunted House" at the fairgrounds, also on October 30, we will be having a Halloween Carnival.

All games (dime toss, bean bag toss, dart throw, gold fish throw, basketball hoop shot, spook walk, and a chance to make a couple crafts) will only cost $1 each and have prizes. There will also be a Costume Contest, Coloring Contest, and a Carved Pumpkin contest, so get your costume ready and your pumpkin carved and come out to the fairgrounds for a night of fun.

The Haunted House will cost $3.00 but if you bring three non perishable food items (for the local food bank) it will only cost you $1.00. So come to the fairgrounds and have some fun for Halloween. Watch for flyers around town with all the details.

In November the fair will hold its annual Turkey Bingo on November 21.

On November 1 the fair will be holding its first Flea Market. If interested call the fair office (795-3480) and leave a message, we will get back to you.
