The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Puget Island resident Carol Kriesel dropped off unused medications on Saturday in Cathlamet. Ginger Hake of the Wahkiakum Community Network and Ernie Schnabler of the Wahkiakum County Sheriff's Office were on hand from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., to collect unused and expired medications. The medications will be sent to the Drug Enforcement Administration for incineration. There will eventually be a permanent collection box, according to Hake. Photos by Diana Zimmerman.
