Job fair scheduled March 29 at WHS

Companies in and around Wahkiakum County were invited to host a table at the Wahkiakum Career Day on March 29.
The event will help 9th through 12th grade students learn about the area’s companies, industries and career opportunities.
Employers from all industries, including health care, manufacturing, technology, construction, finance, hospitality, retail, apprenticeship and transportation were encouraged to participate.
The event will be held from 1-3 p.m. in Wahkiakum High School’s gymnasium, 500 South 3rd Street, Cathlamet.
Workforce Southwest Washington, WorkSource, Wahkiakum School District, Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce and the Marine Resource Committee are hosting the event.
