What's happening at the Fair?

April 27, 2017

Greetings from the fair office. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I would like to thank all donors who made the Easter Bingo a success. Also a huge thank you to all who volunteered their time. Once again this was a huge success.

The next event at the fair grounds will be on May 5 and 6. The fair will be having a huge garage sale. The time will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., both days. Special bargains will be happening so come out and find some treasures. Then on May 13 will be the monthly Flea Market; tables are only $10.00. Please call the office for more information on these events.

There will be a clean up day at the fair grounds on May 20; watch this column for more information.

As you know we have a grant from the state to upgrade the bathrooms so the fair grounds will be busy getting them done this next month.

The fair board has chosen the fair theme for this year; it is DENIM -N- DIAMONDS. The fair book will be dedicated to Lore Twiet. And at this time we are looking for fair royalty. If you are interested please call the office and Patty will get back to you.

June will be here before you know it and summer events will start taking place. June 3 Dollars for Scholars will be at the fair grounds. The Silver Buckle Series will be held on June 24, July 22 and August 19. The big event for the fair this year is the "Challenge of Champions" which will take place on July 14.
